This is the International Year of Crystallography. Chemistry students are invited to write a newsletter for the Institute of Chemistry of Ireland on the topic. Full details attached.

ICI Schools Chemistry Newsletter Competition 2014

The Institute of Chemistry of Ireland together with The Society for Chemical Industry, Ireland Section, and The Irish Science Teachers’ Association, sponsors the Schools Chemistry Newsletter Competition.

This competition is open to all second level students who are interested in Chemistry. Entrants must submit a 4 x A4 Newsletter, suitable for the non-scientist, explaining clearly and accurately the significance of any aspects of chemistry in an engaging, informative and easily intelligible manner. The theme for this year is "Teenagers’ Perceptions of Chemistry".
