Junior ECO Watcher Training Course

This ECO-UNESCO course has been approved by the Department of Education and Skills for Primary school teachers Extra Personnel Vacation (EPV) days and may also be suitable for secondary school teachers especially those involved with Green Schools and other similiar projects.

The aim of the course is to up-skills teachers and promote awareness of different environmental issues through interactive methodologies such as inquiry learning, learning by doing and learning outside the classroom. The content of course has links with many different strands in the geography syllabus at primary level and science syllabus at secondary level.
