ISTA Annual Conference 2025 – Adapting to a Changing World in Science Education

The ISTA is pleased to announce that tickets for our annual conference are now on sale. Hosted by our Kildare Branch, this year’s conference takes place on Friday April 4th and Saturday April 5th. On the Friday, our Gala Dinner & Awards evening will take place in the Glenroyal Hotel in Maynooth (discounted rooms available; details below) and our full conference will follow on Saturday April 5th 2025 at Maynooth University.

The theme for this year’s conference is ‘Adapting to a changing world in science education’.

There is a full programme of lectures, practical workshops, exhibits and opportunities for collaboration. With new specifications in biology, chemistry and physics being introduced in September, the programme carefully balances the need for discussion on the challenges and opportunities the new courses provide. All the major book publishers will be in attendance with their latest offerings for the new specifications.
