UCD School of Veterinary Medicine Transition Year Programme

The UCD School of Veterinary Medicine has teamed up with the Veterinary Council of Ireland to offer one lucky student the opportunity to win a week-long transition year programme in the School of Veterinary Medicine. The transition year programme will run from the 22nd – 26th February 2016.
The winning student will get the chance to observe staff in a working Veterinary Hospital, participate in Veterinary Medicine lectures, attend laboratories and observe the caring of animals by trained staff.

Please submit your entry in one of the following formats: 150 words or 3 illustrations or 1 video clip
The entry should tell a story of what you believe vets do day-to-day, whether it’s on the farm, in a laboratory, in a surgery, or in a clinic. Email your entry with your name, address, contact details and school name to whatvetsdo@vci.ie by 5pm on Wednesday, 20th January 2016 to be in with a chance of winning this exclusive prize.
Transport, accommodation and subsistence are the sole responsibility of the winner.
