Tionól Forbartha Gaeloideachas i bpáirt le COGG an t-ainm atá air agus is é Cothrom na Féinne téama na hócáide. Tá an chomhdháil seo ar cheann de himeachtaí is mó éileamh in earnáil an oideachais lán-Ghaeilge agus Gaeltachta.

Tugann sí deis do phobail na scoileanna lán-Ghaeilge agus Gaeltachta, ag an mbunleibhéal agus ag an iar-bhunleibhéal araon, plé a dhéanamh ar shaincheisteanna, ar dhea-chleachtas agus ar an taighde is nuálaí san earnáil. Tá clár an-leathan againn i mbliana le ceardlanna ar go leor ábhair shuimiúla éagsúla. Dá bhféadfadh sibh aon phoiblíocht a dhéanamh ar an ócáid agus ar na ceardlanna iad féin, bheadh muid an-bhuíoch.

Tá breis eolais maidir leis an ócáid agus cúrsaí clárúcháin le fáil anseo: http://www.gaelscoileanna.ie/tionol-forbartha/ agus ar ár leathanach Facebook.

Beidh ceardlann an-suimiúil ar chúrsaí eolaíochta ar siúl le Dónal Ó Laoire ón JCT i mbliana: An Eolaíocht: Torthaí Foghlama á gCur i nGníomh Tá muid cinnte go mbeadh an-suim ag múinteoirí eolaíochta atá ag múineadh i scoileanna lán-Ghaeilge sa seisiún seo agus cinn eile ar an gclár.

The annual education conference, Tionól Forbartha Gaeloideachas i bpáirt le COGG, will take place on the 24th of November this year in the Mullingar Park Hotel. This is the largest annual conference in the country for Irish-medium and Gaeltacht schools at primary and post-primary level. This year’s conference theme is Cothrom na Féinne and we will have a wealth of workshops and lectures all of which are relevant to the theme as part of our packed programme: Special education needs, Science, Maths, I.T., Modern Languages, and much more. One of the workshops will focus on the teaching of science in the Irish-medium post-primary classroom: An Eolaíocht: Torthaí Foghlama á gCur i nGníomh (Science: Putting Junior Cert Science Learning Outcomes into action) Dónal Ó Laoire from the JCT Science Team will facilitate the session and we’re sure that many science teachers in Irish-medium settings will be keen to attend.
