IOP Awards

Every year the Institute of Physics (IOP) Awards celebrate excellence in physics. They celebrate all aspects of physics, from pure research to the work of teachers, apprentices, technicians as well as those working in business and industry. They celebrate people at all stages of their careers and in all parts of the UK, Ireland and internationally.

Teachers contribute an immense amount to society, and as someone who has a strong link with teachers and schools, we would like to ask for your help to accord teachers the recognition they deserve by celebrating excellence in physics teaching!

You can help by:

· Encouraging others to go to iop.org/awards to consider whether there is someone they could nominate – including themselves with the self-nomination option

· Spread the news on social networks

· Sharing information on the Awards in your own newsletters, intranet or other relevant communications channels

Nominations that reflect the diversity of communities across the UK and Ireland. Nominees do not have to be members of the IOP.

Nominations close on 23 April 2021. Further details about the Teacher of Physics, and other IOP awards, can be found at iop.org/awards.
