Making An Impact 2012

The Higher Education Authority & The Irish Independent, wish invite some of your students plus a supervisor to the final of our ‘Making An Impact’ 2012 competition at The Theatre, in The Helix on the Tuesday 24th of April at 2pm.
Dear All,

The competition is based on research in any discipline that can make an Impact. It is felt that the final would be a great experience for students, particularly transition years, to demonstrate how passionate people are about research, how important it is, how much of an impact it can make and how it is actually interesting. As we all know and remember well from our own school days, research can seem boring and unimportant when it is the exact opposite, so this is a chance to show this to students!

Unfortunately, there are only 400 seats which fill up quite quickly, so we really need to know as soon as possible if you would be interested in allowing some students to join us for this event, as it is really whoever responds the fastest that will be given their ticket to the event .

If a large number of students from your school plan to attend and you require bus transport, we may be in a position to provide 50% of this cost.
