National CPD on New Draft Senior Science Specifications
The ISTA is pleased to inform you that our online National CPD programme for ISTA members will continue in 2024.

As you are aware, we have been informed that the proposed timeline for implementation of the new draft syllabi is that they will be finalised in 2024 for implementation in schools in September 2025. The details of the next three National CPD events are as follows:

All webinars will be hosted by Aodhagán Ó Suilleabháin with assistance from Seán Finn. The presenters at each webinar will be members of the relevant ISTA committee assisted by panel members. ISTA members are asked to study the draft syllabi before coming to the webinars as this will help you to make your views known to the panel. ISTA will be making a formal submission to the NCCA about the views of their members on these draft syllabi and these three events as well as a follow-up questionnaire will be very valuable to ISTA in drafting its submission.
If you have any questions about registering for any of these events, please contact Aodhagán by email (aodhagano@hotmail.com) as he is the expert in this area. Certificates of attendance will be automatically sent by email a few days after the CPD to all those in attendance on the night.
Please register as soon as possible to avoid too much pressure on Aodhagán in processing your application for registration Please note that registration for each event will close at 5 p.m. on the day of the webinar to allow time for the list of participants to be finalised.
