The Robert Boyle Summer School is an annual gathering of adults interested in exploring ideas relating to science, history and culture. It is a collaboration between CALMAST SETU’s STEM Engagement Centre and the Lismore Heritage centre with support from Waterford City and County Council, local industry and Lismore Castle Estates.

This year’s Robert Boyle Summer School will explore the mystery of the Brain. You are invited to this year’s Summer School, where you will embark on an enlightening journey through one of the most fascinating and complex organs in the human body: the brain. There was such a great response to January’s Winter School, which touched on the topic,c that it was decided to explore the theme further.

The Summer School will take place in Waterford from Thursday evening 05th June, in Lismore on Saturday 07th June and concludes in Waterford Sunday morning 8th June with a cultural event.

The Summer School will include lectures, social gatherings and our successful garden party in the garden of Lismore Castle. More details to follow. Keep an eye on our social media or robertboyle.ie
