ExpeRimental is a series of short films making it fun, easy and cheap to do science at home with your children. The project was the brainchild of Alom Shaha.
He has made short videos to encourage parents to try out some science-based activities at home. He is particularly focussed on encouraging parents who might feel they lack the expertise to do something like this and to show them that no experience is necessary. Dr Aoife McLysaght from Trinity College participated in this project with her children. The philosophy of the project is that it is all about problem-solving and questioning, and not about the parent (or teacher) providing instructions to be followed by the children. Worth a viewing especially for Primary School teachers.
